After the severe earthquakes in Venezuela the death toll has risen to over 3,500 – and the search for the missing continues.

Rescue teams work their way through rubble while families search for relatives. Twelve-year-old Fabiana Blanco says the quake left her "a battle scar".

The supply situation is critical: there is a shortage of shelter, water and medical aid. International helpers are on their way.
