Oil Price Falls Sharply After Iran Pause

After the halt in US strikes on Iran, the oil price is falling sharply. The North Sea benchmark Brent dropped more than eight percent on Monday to around $90 a barrel. The prospect of negotiations and open shipping lanes is calming the markets – after the price had at times risen by almost 40 percent in July.
